Web Events of 2005: Google Stock Continues to Rocket

by on December 24th, 2005

From a business perspective, last year’s Initial Public Offering of Google stock proved to be, and continue to be a boon to investors. At the opening bell on January 3rd, 2005 (the first business day in 2005), Google’s stock surged from an already lofty $197.40 to $202.71 to close out the trading day. And that was just January 3rd. At the writing of this entry (Saturday, Dec 24th), Google stock is trading at a super high $430.93 per share!!!

If you had money to invest early on, you’re making bank today! Remember Enron though and don’t put all your money here.
