Once again, I’m so glad I don’t own an iPhone. As if to commemorate the great iPhone 2.0 activation snafu, Blendtec blends an iPhone 3G.
Will it blend? Hell, will it activate?

Before anything else, let’s make one thing clear: I do not dislike the iPhone 3G. Unlike its predecessor, it delivers many of the standard features of today’s smartphones, for a surprisingly low price.
Unlike its predecessor, it actually supports third-party apps. Admittedly, it will only support Steve-approved apps, but sacrificing flexibility for stability is simply the […]

All the Apple hippies may be slobbering over their GPRS bricks, but the Japanese laugh at the iPhone.

What exactly can it do? Who cares? It’s Apple! After […]

Last week, I was playing Final Fantasy VI on my Nokia N95 when a building guard told me I shouldn’t take pictures. I had to point out that the lens cap was closed, and that his building looked nothing like Figaro Castle.
Of course, that’s nothing compared to what technologist Michael Nygard went through at the […]
