Still Having Gmail Gtalk Issues
I’m still having issues with Gmail as shown in the error there. This is really annoying. I really don’t want to load Gtalk up and have it running while everything else is going too. Is nobody else experiencing this problem?
I’d really like some insight or ideas on how to fix it. I downloaded and installed CCleaner as was shared on That Damn PC thinking maybe it might fix it. No luck! It did remove a bunch of crap though, so that was nice. Although now I’ve got to re-enter all my login information for my blogs, but that’s okay.
So, I e-mailed Gmail tech support back when I originally mentioned the problem on this blog back on December 19th and have heard nothing from aside from an automated response. I was able to narrow things down to being an IE7 issue somehow, but it used to work, so not sure what changed in the meantime. Oh, and it seems to work on IE7 on my desktop computer.
If anyone out there has any clue, or knows someone at Google on the Gmail team, I’d love it if you let them know I’m pretty frustrated right now.

It’s not an IE problem; I’m having the same problem using Firefox on my MacBook Pro.

Still no luck on my end and getting more and more frustrated. Can’t figure out what’s causing it.

I’ve been having the same problem since the gmail chat was out. It’s really annoying and I tried all tricks suggested on Google Help forum: clean cache, clean this, clean that, disable adds-on… It’s still NOT working. So I’m using the Gtalk freeware instead. But the whole Gmail-Chat thing is really annoying.

Hey there everyone! I’m no longer writing on this blog but I thought I’d come back and let everyone know I fixed the embedded Gtalk issue in Gmail. The only problem is it just started working as I had to rebuild my entire computer user for my machine and basically start from Step 2 after a rebuild. I guess there are benefits of what I’ve gone through today, but man was it painful!
