LinkedIn Now Has Answers
With the ongoing popularity of the specific feature of getting answers from websites like Amazon, Yahoo, and Google(now defunct), LinkedIn has now entered the ring as well with their own solution.
Here’s a taste for some of the current questions being posed on the site:
- Looking for conferences, events and networking groups focused on manufacturing and/or supply chain
- Would it be useful to have your national flag next to your tier number?
- How many CISA, CISSP, CPP certification holders have CPAs? or CAs?
- Online MBA vs.Traditional MBA
- IPv6 - What is it?
As with the other sites, you can answer questions and gain a higher level of expertise. I think this falls nicely into an area I’ve posted about before on getting feedback from people on ratings and and website information. What makes that person an expert?
The combination with LinkedIn and the trust network that’s already established within their services, I think plays very well into getting trusted results from your questions. If I could post questions to my network of people in a non-invasive method, and get answers from my question. That’s a valuable service in my mind.
