Immigration Solution: Virtual Fence
With National Guard troops set to hit the U.S.-Mexican border soon, and immigration laws being set in motion by the House and Senate, one wonders how on earth the border will be secured by the United States. To some, the answer is physical wall spanning 2,500 miles of border. This is costly and reasonable success is not guaranteed.
The Department of Homeland Security has put out an RFP to Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Ericsson, Raytheon and my own employer, Northrop Grumman, to submit bids on a proposed project to span the border with high tech measures such as UAV (Unmanned Aeriel Vehicles), infrared and night vision surveillance, and the Lockeed manufactured Tethered Aerostat Radar which resembles an oversize blimp that is tied to the ground and monitors activity for miles around.
Seems appropriate that the most technologically advanced nation in the world would actually start using the resources at its disposal.

My bad. The fact that you weren’t overly opinionated should have been my key ;)
